a little thing I like to call {fRiDaY's FiNdS}

So it has been a while since I have had a "themed day". However, I kinda miss it. So, the other day I was thinking about a few of my favorite things and how much I wish I could share them all with you when I thought, WHY NOT?!

That is when FRIDAY'S FINDS came to mind.
{I know, I am insanely clever! Or just insane...}

So here is how it works. Every Friday, or I guess knowing myself I should say, JUST ABOUT every Friday I look forward to sharing something with you. A "can't live without" product, recipe, discovery....anything, that I think you might also like. Try it if you want, or don't. WHATEV. If you do, let me know what you think!

Oh, and here and there I may throw in a "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THIS". Like Dr. Silver in the Wood River Valley. If you have the chance to see him...well, save yourself the "I'm in a higher class than you are" lecture and choose a different Orthopedic Surgeon....I'm just sayin!
(I have not had need for his services, but he had need of mine through work. NOT NICE! NOT NICE! NOT NICE! Anyone that will say my child's health problems are inconveniencing him and causing him grief, which they were not, well, not a lot of lovely feelings were sent his way. Now I will go pray for him so I can think kind things in his direction again!)

ANYWHO....

Also, please don't be afraid to enlighten me to a few of YOUR OWN "finds". In fact, PLEASE DO! Everything I will share with you will likely have come as a suggestion from someone else. I LOVE SHARING!

So, to start you off, I MUST share with you a secret {or not so much a secret} that my Sis-In-Law, Jasmine, shared with me one day while browsing through a Bath and Body Works .

Patricia Wexler....you know, the face wash B&BW sells....well, it actually works, AMAZINGLY WELL! Believe me, if you know Jas and you have seen her beautiful skin, you pay attention when she tells you what she uses! She said that she doesn't normally have perfect skin, but she did while using this stuff. So, I thought, "WHAT THE HAY! I WILL TRY IT!"

I forked over the $25-$30 for the trial kit. There are a few to try from. In humilty I will offer that I suffer with acne. Well, I am not really suffering, but I hate it! Part of all the Poly-cystic Ovarian loveliness that has been sent my way. So, while the "ANTI-AGING" looked promising, the "ANTI-ACNE" was where my hand landed!

With it's purchase comes small trial sizes of the "Exfoliating Cleanser", "Anti-Aging and Acne Serum", "SPF 30 Moisturizer" and a little tube of "Spot Treatment". All of which lasted at least 30 days (Spot treatment as lasted for months! Still have tons!) .

Honestly, I have tried EVERYTHING! Even Meds! The only thing that has worked is this stuff and I LOVE it! It even gets rid of those little scars left behind!

YES, when you go to buy the real sized stuff it is a little spendy, but the face wash ($16) has lasted over 3 months so far and the other stuff (Serum, $45), (Moisturizer $20ish) has lasted 2 so far and there is plenty more!

I also have a bit of an issue with genetic dark circles under my eyes. So, I gave the Dark Circle lightener a try! WOW! The biggest difference! I LOVE IT! She has a "Chemical Peel" and "Microdermabrasion Kit" available too! I totally want to try those! They are just a fraction of the cost of getting one done somewhere and she is a dermatologist so she knows what she is doing.

So, while I haven't tried all the other stuff I am sure it will work amazingly well. If you wanted to try it. I can't guarantee it works for every skin type, but there is a 30 day money back guarantee with your receipt. Try it out!

OH, and here is a little should be no-brainer....Jasmine's Mom has amazing skin! She looks so young! She started using Anti aging stuff when she was in her 20's or so. That way it really was ANTI AGING! Go figure! It's not "Reverse Aging - so start using it when you are 70" it is Anti Aging, so start using it now. Am I the only one that hasn't figured that out?! I am a little slow! :)

So there you have it! Your first "FIND" from me. There is plenty more to come. Recipes for Laundry Detergent from my sis in law, Jana. Budgeting and Financial Peace from Dave Ramsey. A must have mascara. Cleaners that will knock your socks off...or at least the hard water spots off your shower with ease. Oh yes my friends, I have a few things up my sleeve.

SO PLEASE! Give me some of yours in return! I would love to hear them. Post them on your blog. Leave them in the comments. Email me: lindstromfamof5@gmail.com whatever! Just pass them on! I will TOTALLY give them a try!

Ah!!! I have been SO in need of help. I don't know what has happened to my face since my last baby, but it has just exploded and I feel like I am 16 again. And dark circles..sista I hear you! I am going to try it all.
I will look forward to Fridays from now on. If it is the laundry detergent I have been making...I love it. 1-2 cents a load! Fabulous.
By the way, sounds like that Dr. doesn't really deserve any extra prayers floating his way...just my opinion, but you are a better lady than me!

I love there stuff! That is what I use. Staci turned me onto it and she is an esthetician and she loves it. Good find!

I have been unable to justify the expense of microdermabrasion, but this might be something that I can afford. Thanks Aim!

Happy Birthday 2 you!!!
Love ya.

I can't wait to see more of these great finds from you amy!

I am so glad you liked your signs. I was wondering if you get a chance, do you think you could take a picture of them and email me? I stupidly forgot to get a picture for my "vinyl library"...I would really appreciate it!!

This is the greatest idea ever. And coming from you that is saying a LOT. I have tried about every cream out there and paid a fortune. I don't have much acne, but I'm looking for anti-aging and I have terrible dark circles. Why didn't I ask Staci the esthetician. DUH... Expecially for something that is expensive. Why not ask your family and friends.

Here are a few things I swear by:

I have the wimpiest eyelashes. They are blonde and fine. I found this product that is very pricy, but it works miracles. It's called Jan Marini Age Intervention Eyelash Conditioner. It's over $100 a tube but it has lasted me at least a year. I use it for a few weeks every day and then wait a couple of months to use it again. It has really made my eyelashes longer and thicker. I think all the Hardy ladies have very lovely eyelashes, but someone else may be dying for a product like this.

Bar Keepers Friend - It's a cleaner that your dad has used for years. It's amazing stuff. It will clean light abrasions off of a white sink, stove tops, anything. It's very lightly abrasive but it's a miracle worker.

Of course I have to mention what the Hardy family fondly calls "Tit Salve" sometimes refered to as udder butter. I found a brand we like and you can order it online. It's called Watkins Petro-Carbo Salve. It's so great for any skin irritation. I put it on my lips before I go to bed so they don't get chapped, or after they are chapped. It stops that burning sensation instantly. It works SO great on burns and scrapes. It has an immediate pain relief.

I'll try to think of some more stuff I love....

Again, great idea Amy..

We love you so much...
