{MONDAY'S MENU} Garlic Chicken Farfalle

So my friend {THAT'S RIGHT BROOKE} Brooke posted this on her blog the other day. Since her blog is private, you didn't get to see it... UNTIL NOW!! Oh my! This stuff is to DIE for! So good I had to call my friend Jenn and tell her to run down to my house and try it. WHICH SHE DID! She LOVED it too! Oh, the Bacon and the Pasta and the.....Oh just go make it! It is DIVINE!

16oz. farfalle (bow tie pasta)
1 cup whipping cream
3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1/2 Tbsp. pepper
1/2 cup butter
1 lb bacon, cooked & crumbled
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 12oz. bottle Lawry's mesquite with lime juice marinade
*2-3 cloves crushed garlic (optional)

Cook chicken in crock pot with marinade, 4-6 hours.
2.Boil pasta.
3.Melt butter; add whipping cream, pepper, parmesan cheese, & bacon. Whisk together on low heat 5 min.
4.In a large bowl add pasta and sauce, mix well.
5.Cut up chicken into small cubes and add to mixture.
6.Serve with garlic toast.

You make me laugh, is it weird that I consider you my friend even though we have never met nor talked? I haven't really thought otherwise until you BOLD and UPPERCASED it...WE ARE friends right?!

Just cooking this up right now, I did have to use smoked proscuitto as the bacon had gone bad and I couldn't find the Lawry's at my grocer's, so I used a lemon and pepper marinade (just cut up chicken and cooked in marinade on stove top). Omitted garlic this time. But it all looks delicious and I think it's going to taste great!! Thanks for sharing!
