LOOK WHAT SHOWED UP AT OUR HOUSE TODAY!

THE TRIAL RUN....
Ms. Wendy, who embarrassingly enough was called Gramma by my 3 year old for the rest of her visit, thought it might be nice to give Mal a tour of the bus before she heads to school. They also needed to get Dawson's wheelchair fitted with the seatbelts.
This would be Dawson's door!
Ms. Wendy/Gramma getting all ready for us!
"Now, Mallory you are going to have to sit down...No, don't get in my seat. You can't drive the bus! You are going to have to go out side with you Mom if you can't just SIT on a seat. Ok, honey?"
"OK, Gramma"
Yep, just what I expected! THAT didn't last long!

Ms. Wendy/Gramma gets the lift ready to load our boy on the bus.

Here we go Bubba! (Meanwhile Ms. Wendy/Gramma goes to remove Mallory from the bus, because well, she is sitting in the drivers seat of a running bus, honking the horn and turning the wheel. Get out Mal! Don't let the doors hit you on the way out!)

Whew! Fun ride...Just like Disneyland!

D's place on the bus! Looks excited about it doesn't he?!
Yep, chompin at the bit! Can't wait to get there!

Once the bus could be turned off, Wendy/Gramma let Mal back on...well, probably because she was screaming at the doors. This girl would be quite content if she could LIVE on this bus for the rest of her life! We will see how exciting she thinks it is when one shows up tomorrow to take her away from her Mom for about 4 hours!

D-Dawg looks way to little be on that big ol' bus =). Mallory is cracking me up with her "tour" of the bus! Good thing she didn't drive away......now that could've been a little funny =) (as long as nothing happened that is...just you running down the road chasing her) Sorry, my imagination is getting away with me and its cracking me up. I am hitting my requirements for the day!

Amy! That is sad they are not old enough to be riding the bus! You cant' let them go for 4 hours. What are you thinking. (They both do look pretty cute on the bus). You won't know what to do with your self. Good Luck!!! Get a bucket for the tears.

So so cute! I love how she calls the bus driver "Gramma." How is it that they are riding buses already? They don't seem old enough. Is it a preschool bus?

So? How did it go this morning? I am excited for you to have some Amy time. You of all people deserve that. I got a little teary eyed looking at Dawson on the bus. I love those kids of yours. Mallory is a crack up, I love that she called the bus driver Gramma. At least she didn't call her Grampa.
