A {SPECIAL} Day for Jake!

YES, we are finally home! If you will wait patiently then tomorrow you will get the full scope on the funnest surprise vacation!

Last Saturday Jake was baptized! It was such a great and special day for him! One of the really special parts of the day was that 6 of his 9 grandpas were there and participated in the program. Great Grandpa Salisbury gave the opening prayer, Grandpa Lindstrom gave the "Baptism" talk, then Great Grandpa Reynolds and Great Grandpa Hardy witnessed. Then Grandpa Salisbury gave the "Holy Ghost" talk and all stood in for the confirmation (among a few uncles), then Great Grandpa Atkinson gave the closing prayer.
What a blessing for Jake to have all of these great men in his life and to have them all there to be a part of his baptism! It made for an EXTRA special day! This will forever be one of my favorite pictures!

Jake got a new suit for his baptism and new scriptures with his name on them. Doesn't he look so cute?? So does his Dad...if I do say so myself! We are so proud of you Jake! Congratulations!
