Well, Dawson is a little fighter, that is for certain! He is doing so much better now! He is back to wanting to be tickled and laughing and playing. He is even putting up attitude! When I am in the room and he can hear me, he gets really mad if I am not holding him! When I talk to him he tries really hard to lift his head toward me. He is trying to show me that he just wants to snuggle into my neck, his very favorite spot! What a sweet heart!
Dr. Walker, the most amazing Neurosurgeon, came in the other day and said, "So I heard they tried to kill him yesterday. Well, I should have told them, I have tried many times, but it isn't possible, the kid is made of steel!" Isn't that the truth!! Dr. Walker is a great man! It is amazing to have a doctor that holds the life of your child in his hands, and know that he is a man of faith! He KNOWS that as smart as he is, the Lord knows best! That is why, I am sure, he is known as
"The Father of Neuro Surgery" all over the world! He is able to seperate conjoined twins in other countries by just talking another surgeon through it on the phone! He has also designed most of the shunts that are used today! We are so blessed to have him! Now, I just have to talk him into sticking around, and not retiring anytime in the next 50 years!
Well, I need to get back to my boy. Ryan and Jake headed home today and will be back in 2 days. Mallory is getting well aquainted with her cousins at Clint and JoJo's house! THANKS SO MUCH to them!! They are always SO willing to help out, even if it means taking on another 1 year old, on top of 4 kids under 6! You are brave JoJo!! I appreciate you so much!!
Well, I am off! Thanks again for all of your prayers. Also, just to let you know, they will be putting Dawsons shunt back in on April 4th. That is a Wednesday. They are going to go into his stomache and see if there is somewhere they might be able to place the catherter. They are hoping it will work, although it might not because of the Necrotizing Entero Colitis he had, but it would mean a much less likely chance of infection in the future and would protect his heart from chance of infection. We will be fasting that day. Any of you who would like to, please join us! We have so much faith in prayer and fasting! Miracles have happened because of your faith! Thanks so much!!
