Going Home....Me not the babies....Yet

Well, I am going home again. I woke up this morning with really bad allergies or a cold. I am not sure which. Because Dawson is in the state he is in it would be very very bad for him to get a cold. I really think it is allergies to the cat that also lives with Clint and Abby, but I won't know until I get away for a day or two. Plus, if I have to stay home from the hospital I might as well go home and help Ryan out there. I am going to leave in a little bit here and Jake doesn't know I am coming home. I can't wait until he gets off the bus and I am at home to suprise him, he will be so excited!

Dawson is on the upswing of things. Last night he peed a ton. That was where all of the swelling was coming from. It was good that he could get some of the extra fluid off. That is also a sign that he is feeling better. We will give him a couple more days to rest and when I get back on Friday he will be ready to start eating again.

Mallory makes this the hardest. Since I can't hold or do anything for Dawson and it is better for him to just rest as much as possible it makes that part easier. However, Mallory is doing great. She is really getting the eating thing down and is working hard on going home. She also loves her mommy and wants to be held and loved. I will miss getting to do this for a few days. In fact, it makes me a little teary. I would just hate to put her back any more by giving her another cold. She has good nurses and they will pick her up and love her for me. Plus I will be back on Friday.
