Almost There!

Today was a busy, but good day. Dawson is still doing great. He is up to 22 MLs and is cruising right along with a messy diaper with every diaper change. Good Boy! I am still trying like crazy to get him moved over to the U. I have not seen him really awake since just after his surgery and it makes me sad. He is also way to big to be in a warmer. He needs to get into a crib. He also needs to start taking bottles so that he can get home. He is such a cutie and I can't wait to get him home! They have had to tap his head twice to take some of the post surgery water gain off. Hopefully this stops soon. His clots are gone so I don't know why they would have to continue to tap. We will just have to pray hard for him. We don't want another surgery!

Mallory has now got a date to go home, tentively. Today she went to eating ad lib. She decides when she eats and how much. Today was her first day and she showed everyone how good she was going to be at it. She ate 95 MLs by bottle the first feeding and 85 the second. This is opposed to her regular 58 MLs that she was normally getting. She is so funny. She also gained 120 GRAMS!! What a chunk. That is the same as 4 oz. She is such a chub! All she has to do is gain weight tomorrow and she is good to go other than her eye exam, which is on Wednesday. If she is not any worse with her eyes she will go home probably on Thursday. Then we are half way there. I hope like crazy that Daws really takes off with his feedings so we can head back to Idaho.

Both babies are great and working hard. We all need to pray hard for Mal's eyes and Dawson's head and eating. Today I saw a mom sitting by her brand new little babies in room 1 and I wanted to go in there and tell her that it will be over before she nows it, and that she will get through it. I can't believe how fast this has gone by. We have definately been through a lot in the last 3 months! But we have learned and our testimonies have grown so much. We are thankful, believe it or not, for this opportunity we have had to grow.

We love you all,
The Lindstroms

I decided with all of my might,
To leave this comment... and set things right. (At this point I am unsure of what needs to be "set right"...hmmm)
