I really can't believe it has been 5 years! Oh my!
Last weekend we were in Utah for couple of days. We decided to quickly throw together a little celebration for Mal & D.
Part 1:
Family and Friends meet at the cemetary. We handed out 72 balloons with markers for everyone to write a note to Dawson.
Mally & her new BFF Brady (cousin)
New because until this trip they were almost constantly on the verge of strangling each other. Not this time! They found the value in each other and everywhere they went all weekend they were together! So Sweet!
At one point I thought about Dawson and what he must think about all of this. I felt an excitement outside of my own bubbling up inside of my chest. He was excited! He was thinking this was pretty awesome! As we drove toward the cemetary I could feel how happy he was. I loved it!
Mallory insisted we sing "Happy Birthday" to Dawson.
Then we sang "Families Can Be Together Forever".
"I have a Family here on Earth.
They are so good to me.
I want to share my life with them for all Eternity.
Families can be together forever,
Through Heavenly Fathers Plan.
I always want to be with my own family
And the Lord has shown me how I can.
The Lord
Has shown me how I can."
It was such a great moment! With a lot of our family and friends that we love so much! We were so glad they were there to share that moment with us!
Afterward, it was Mallory's turn to celebrate! We headed back to Ryan's parents house.
For a little Shuffle Board, cake and fun.
I think for a while there the sky turned everything Pink just to celebrate Mallory.
EVERYTHING in her life should be PINK...at least that is what she thinks!
Melissa Lombardo with a SWEET action shot! She beat her hubby Aaron...who is probably the master of Shuffle Board. I think this makes HER the Master! Right Melv?!
We hung out for quite a while with the Nye's and Lombardo's.
(I thought you would like this picture Pres & Sis Eyre! Elder Lindstrom holding Melissa's baby girl next to Elder Nye! How fun is that!)
We LOVE the Nye's and Lombardo's! Seriously, just being with them made me want to pack up and move back to Utah....I won't, but it made me want to....REALLY BAD!
Mallory was super excited about her Little Pet Shop Cake!
We ended the night by watching "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" in the Lindstrom Theatre. It was so much fun to have all the kids snuggled together with their blankets and popcorn!
Thanks so much to everyone for coming!
HAPPY BDAY SWEET MALLY MOO! We love you so darn much!
