{friday's finds} GAME ON GIVEAWAY!

Ryan and Jake have been hunting since Wednesday. That leaves me, D, Mallers and LOTS of time! So, Hasbro & My Blog Spark sent me a couple of games to try out and it couldn't have been better timing! Mal has been in heaven!

First off....GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO!

GIRAFFALAFF LIMBO is the crazy new game of "how low can you go?" Spin the dial to try one of the 6 limbo styles: classic limbo, crab walk, crawl, giraffe walk, bend forward or backward. The game´s built-in sound will play an encouraging song as preschoolers try not to bump into Giraffalaff. If he´s knocked over, he´ll roll on the floor in laughter. The player that passes under Giraffalaff at the lowest level wins.

This game was SO great for Mallory! It is such a great game for building strength and coordination in their little arms and legs. She LOVES IT! Plus, the Giraff's laugh caused everyone to burst out in giggles. SO FUN!

And the fave......SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE!

In SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE kids will do their best to balance marbles in the hands of one very wiggly caterpillar. Kids will have fun dancing along to the music with Scatterpillar in this fast-paced marble game. The first player to securely place all 8 marbles in Scatterpillar´s hands wins. SCATTERPILLAR SCRAMBLE was named the 2009 Preschool Game of the Year by Creative Child Magazine.

As soon as you press the button this little scatterpillar starts dancing and giggling. SO FUN! So great for hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. You know around here we are always trying to find fun ways to work on the little skills that need a little work. This is a HIT! You can't help but have fun with this one!

AND NOW FOR THE SHARING......

My neighbor just gave us Junior Scrabble from her grandmother who just passed. The games smells old and it's missing one tile but my kids (7 & 5) have loved it.

You know I am pretty good at limbo but I think my kids might just beat me at that one. haha!

Chris does not like games but the kids LOVE any game we will play with them...especially Daddy! I think he would even have fun with these.

We want the game! Pick us! Pick us! Our favorite game is crazy goofy dancing to blog music. We don't have a very good selection, so we just surf around blogs that have music on them. And yes Amy, we have used your play list for our purposes before. This is a little weird huh? Awkward. Maybe I shouldn't share all of our nerdy secrets. But we do have a lot of fun! We did it the other night for like 2 hours. Maybe it will send me in to labor.

So we don't have kids... YET! But I would loooove more games! All I have is a few decks of cards and Password, which I remember playing with your family and it's still one of my favorite games!

I was just looking at the giraffalaff game today, but wasn't sure about it. Thanks for the review. They both look like fun. My kids like to play go fish, but the dice version and the bowling dice game.

For the adults: any card game that can get us all riled up and competitive.
For the small children: Candy Land...always and forever.

My favorite board game is the original Cranium. My kids love the Cranium spin-off games for kids, like Hullabaloo and Balloon Lagoon.

Wow Amy you have got quite the blog. That is so awesome. I would love to take part in all your little giveaways. I have a 4 and 2 year old and our favorite game right now is probably a toss up between Hungry Hippo and Hi-Ho Cherry-O. But did you know that I broke the limbo record in seminary, that was formerly held by my sister? I wonder if I still hold the record or not?

My fingers are crossed! I can always use more fun games for the grandkids.
