It has taken YEARS for this day to finally arrive for Jake. He has begged. Pleaded. Proved Himself Capable. Earned. And now Paid (Partly) for this little sweetheart! We couldn't be happier and no one is more surprised than me to hear me say that!
I am allergic to dogs and hate that they poop. Yep, I said it! However, the latter was easy to get past because I have to pick up after the stupid foxes poop, I may as well clean up after a dog that I actually care about.
Lucky us, she is trained to go in one spot and we have a 5 acre yard, so it just happens to be no where near where I am! YAY!
The allergies....well, hasn't really been an issue. I even hold her and snuggle her and just wash up when I am done and NO problems! YAY!
I mean really....How could I not love her?! She is so sweet! She isn't crazy hyper puppy. She is very mild mannered and we ALL love her dearly!
I think we were all ready for our family to grow. She is the PERFECT addition!
Mally and Jake LOVE her. They love to run and play with her. Their favorite thing is to run around the house as fast as they can and watch her keep up. She loves it too!
This job comes with lots of responsibilities, but so SO many pluses! The kids take her on a 20 min walk everyday. Usually they walk to the lot next door and hike up the mountain. Then they walk all over there and back home. It is pretty cute to watch them!
Jake is also working hard to get Elly trained. She is so in love with Jake. She wants to do whatever he wants her too. It is quite fun!
If you want a lab, hang around for another 1 1/2 - 2 years. We are planning to breed Elly, if she passes the hip test, of course! She comes from such a great blood line. In fact, the people that sold Elly to us, asked us to breed her because they want a puppy from her for sure! Fun!
Now, hopefully I will get pictures together from my MN trip tomorrow and get them posted. School is starting tomorrow for Jake, so hopefully I will have a little time. I learned SO much! AND had a blast! More to come later!

Very cute! Just so you know when you breed labs they try to take over the world. Our lab sammy had 11 puppies in our basement on christmas eve. Be sure you will have buyers for all by the 11th one I was paying them to take it. 11 puppies is a lot of work. They have a puppy training class at the community college Amanda,Carrie and I all took our dogs there. It was a good program. They teach sit stay and all the basics it is so worth it. Good luck. She is a cutie!
Elly is so cute!
Welcome to the world of being a dog mom! It is amazing how quickly they become a part of the family and before you know it she will be living in your house and sleeping in your bed! : )

I never thought I'd see this day...she is so pretty! I'm glad your allergies aren't bugging you! Are you letting her in the house?
SOOOOOOO cute, animals are the best thing for kiddos, so happy that you decided to add her to your sweet family. I can't wait until she is snuggled between you and Ryan in your bed and you wonder how you ever let that happen.:)
She is adorable. I am so glad you finally got a pup!! Jake will love having her for a buddy.
