YAY FOR ANTOHER GIVEAWAY!

Thanks for your patience with me! This move has been crazy. AMAZING, but crazy! Pictures will come very very soon! If we could drag our behinds out of the hot tub it would be a lot quicker! :) But what is more fun to do on a rainy night with the fam?! We are LOVING it! (Oh and consistent internet service would be great too!) So, to hold you over until Thursday, which is when I will post the tour of the new digs, here is a little somethin, somethin just for you!

When I first decided to do this giveaway I first thought of my Harris Girls! I know how you all love the MACARONI GRILL.
At General Conference we were counseled to sit and have dinner with our family each night. Ryan and I are sometimes good at that and sometimes, not so much! Throw a move into the mix and it felt like it was all going to go out the window. We needed fast, yummy (to keep Mal in her chair) and easy clean up. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE GOT WITH THIS MEAL!

The chefs at Macaroni Grill have put their favorite dishes into an "easy to make at home" version! Take 1 lb. of your favorite type of meat (chicken, shrimp, steak, etc.) and add it to the package, which includes ONLY the finest ingredients, and within 20 min you have a DELICIOUS MEAL!

Your gift also comes with the strainer, handheld grater & spoon you see in the picture! PLUS you will get coupons for MORE free boxes of the good stuff so you can pick your own flavors!

THIS ONE IS NOT TO BE MISSED! Kids loved it, I luh-huved it & even Ryan, my anti-pasta guy LOVED it!

The flavor was amazing! It cooked up super fast. Add a loaf of french bread and some salad & VIOLA a full meal in seriously just minutes!

I was a little skeptical at first. I thought Pasta Roni with a different name. NOT SO! This is the real stuff and so yummy! The strainer, spoon & grater are great quality and we rushed right out to get our free boxes to add to our pantry!

SO, to enter all you have to do is leave a comment. I want to know, what your families favorite meal is, when you all sit down together. Of course, if you want you could just say "Pick Me", but what is the fun in that?! If you can't see what I am doing I will say it straight up. I am fishing for ideas people! :) So help a lady out, would ya?!

This drawing will end on Friday at Noon! THIS FRIDAY! So get on it! At which time Random.org will help me pick someone at random.

Can't wait to see your comments! Oh and watch for another post with LOADS of pics of the new place. Which is mostly done to coax you all into coming for a visit! WE LOVE VISITORS! And it's free for you, so....alright, I will leave it to the pictures! See you Thursday! (If my internet is working that is!)

K so since I am the first to comment and probably the only one to say that I have never eaten at a Macaroni Grill (does this really surprise you?), does that mean I get an extra entry? =)

My family loves pot roast (cooked in the oven--not a crock-pot!), mashed potatoes, gravy and Grammys hot rolls. Orange-chocolate cake with a spot of vanilla icecream for dessert.
I prefer Ambers Special Pasta, Ceasar Salad and Cheesecake for dessert.
So many choices!!

I love anything that Ben will make, just cause that means I don't have to cook! Our new favorite with the good weather is kabobs on the grill... get all the mushrooms, peppers, pineapple and meat you can with a little teriyaki marinade. superb.

You should seriously get paid commission from Marcaroni Grill for an endorsement like that!!!

Right no my favorite dinner is anything that can be made after work, and downed in between soccer, baseball, t-ball, scouts and gymnastics. Darn-it....We have been having a lot of family time at Wendy's lately!!!

My family (well, mostly me) loves meals made primarily with fresh veggies from our garden. Sometimes I'll just bake up some bread and we'll just have bread and a variety of garden veggies. Time to get planting!

Can't wait to see pics of your new place!

Tyann has ALWAYS been my pasta eater. When she was little she would get so excited and tell Chris "IT'S NOODLE TIME!!!" We still love the fast and easy pasta but I'm always up for grilling.

Our favorite meals are the ones that we all make together. My kids tend to eat whatever they help me make. If I make it myself they seem to be a bit more picky.

We are starting a blog...hence the blogger identity...more info. soon.

I want to share what I made just today. But I'm worried that random.org will pick me when there are so many other deserving contestants (with hungry children out of the womb I might add). So you don't have to add me to the drawing. BUT today for lunch I made tomato soup with tortellini and cheese that turned out to serve 4 rather large helpings and I might add that it was healthy! This meal is a good source of protein, calcium, and had a decent amount of fiber...and very filling, oh and easy!

Here is how I put it together:

1 Box of Napoleon Tricolor Tortellini with cheese filling (found in health section of store for just over 2 dollars it is in a box, not the fridge or freezer)cooked al dente.

1 can of tomato soup made as directions indicate. You can use a can of milk or water to make the soup. I used water.

Combine cooked tortellini to tomato soup. Add 1/2-1 C. mozzerella cheese and about 1/2 a tablespoon or so of Oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Serve in bowls and top with generous amount of grated parmesan cheese (the kind in the green bottle, not the fresh stuff). Yummy!

And for dessert I put some scoops of vanilla ice-cream in a large glass, added some frozen peach slices, chopped it up with my spoon, a dash of cinnamon and top it off with milk. Basically it was a peach shake without using the blender.

I could SO use a few dinners like that to have up my sleeve...and a new strainer would be fantastic!!

thanks for the giveaway amy, you sweet thing!!

Ours is very basic with not much flavor. Collin isn't a fan of new flavors..BORING..but thats okay. ;) So...we eat baked chicken breasts with only Season Salt for flavor on them. brown or wild rice cooked with chicken broth (got that idea from you!) seasoned with a bit of salt and REAL butter. salad and or green beans, corn or mixed veggies. Pretty boring but super healthy and no added extra ingredients that you can't pronounce. My second fav-Hawaiian haystacks! YUmmy! No need to add us into the drawing, no wheat products here. Sad for me..cause I LOVE pasta. Thanks though!! love ya!

Ok, so George and I love this WW pasta I make. I get the Barilla pasta in the yellow box and it has tons of fiber. It tastes like white pasta but has better numbers than whole wheat. George just will not eat whole wheat pasta. Start the pasta first and add salt. It uses one whole package of the Jennie O Italian turkey sausage and lots of onions, peppers and mushrooms (if you like). Fire roasted tomatoes (1 can), and regular diced tomatoes (2 cans), and one small can of tomato paste. Remove the casings from the sausage brown until done. When the sausage is about a third done I add the peppers and onions. George makes the sauce and adds the normal italian seasonings, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes. You will just have to add these to taste. I don't measure. I also add some of these seasonings to the sausage when it's cooking. He also uses an immulsion blender so we don't have any big chunks of tomatoes. Once everything is done, combine it all together in a big oven pan and add one whole bag of 2% Mozzerella and bake until bubbly. Awsome meal and it doesn't taste like it's a diet meal. Very filling and tasty. I't only 5.5 points per serving. It also freezes really well, and keeps in the fridge for a week. What could be better.
