So, my little sister Lisa and I are quite close in age. Let me make the record clear...I love her NOW so very dearly! Why the emphasis on NOW...well, when Lisa and I were younger we didn't always get along so well. I mean we could play Barbie's, Little People & "Boyfriend & Girlfriend" (My mom was single and dating for a couple years when we were little) and get along perfectlywhile doing it, but other than that...well, let me tell you this story to give you a good idea.
After years and years of Lisa pestering me endlessly (Don't listen to Lisa, I NEVER pestered! I was perfectly perfect in everyway) I had reached my boiling point. One day, I am sad to say that I was likely 17 or so, Lisa kept walking up behind me and flat hand slapping me on the top of my head. One time after she did it I told her that if she did it again I might beat her up. So, of course, she quickly did it again...harder! Then she ran as fast as she could down the hall. I got up and walked down the hall to my mom's room where she was hiding. She came from across the room swinging both arms like windmills and kicking both feet at me. She was doing her best to protect herself, and put up a fight, as she came toward me. I stood, patiently waiting for her to reach me. When she did, I struck, just once. That was all it took. I had punched her in the lip. Just a straight shot through all of her crazy flailing. I am embarrassed to admit that I would do such a thing now, but her reaction will FOREVER make us all laugh.
She stumbled back a couple of steps...I had Clint as a brother I HAD to know how to hit hard...and in her stunned voice with blood on her lip she said, "I can't believe you just hit me". And hit her I had! Her tooth went into her lip and was causing her a little bit of trauma!
I must add now that my parents were not upset...in fact my dad laughed pretty hard about it. They figured that Lisa probably deserved it...sorry Lisa!
So, why am I telling you all of this? Well, Lisa emailed me this morning and reminded me of the whole thing when she sent this video and told me it reminded her of that day. I have to say that I laughed SO hard! It is HILARIOUS when you compare the situations. It was REALLY quite similar, except I didn't really take her down QUITE that hard!

hah! that was funny =). And your story doesn't surprise me =), I can tell you have a little bite in ya! Just don't take it out on me!
I used to do the windmill thing to my sister too. That made me laugh really hard. I would tease and tease my sister Amanda and when she finally had it with me and come after me I would break out the windmill move. It worked everytime. Aparantly not for Lisa though.
THAT WAS AWESOME!! THAT KIND OF REMINDS ME OF KYLE AND I. WE SURE HAD IT OUT.... OFTEN!! I CREDIT ALL MY TOUGHNESS AND SCARS TO KYLE!! WE LOOK BACK AT IT NOW AND LAUGH!!
Okay, so now just stop and think of all the poor mothers who just wanted their children to love each other and get along......... Thanks for the laugh Amy.
