GNO!!

So tonight was our first girls night out without our beloved Jeni, Carrie & Kara. We miss them all! It was good for us to go out and remember that there still are a lot of us here, that will be here FOREVER!

We celebrated Kristin's birthday by going to Smokey Mountain Pizza & Pasta in Ketchum. Then we hit the late show! WOO HOO! We saw Mama Mia. It was really fun! There were times we were singing right along, and times we just wanted to get up and dance. Which we did! Maren danced first...then Kristin, then I got up and did a REALLY sweet little number, until well, I realized that there was a guy in the back of the theatre that we had thought we were alone in! I pretty much dropped right back into my seat as fast as I could and laughed so hard I cried. I didn't really want to get up and walk out anymore!

There were 7 of us in all. Some couldn't come and we missed them! Don't worry girls...this won't be the last! We have plans...BIG BIG PLANS!

Oh, and Kristin, Maren & I are forming a girl band! Just a side note!

BYE!

Oh, another thing...on the way home, Jelina, Kristin, Maren & I were talking about how many times we laugh during the day. Anyone that knows me...probably thinks I am a spaz! I LOVE TO LAUGH! I laugh if I am happy, I laugh if I am annoyed, I laugh when I am mad (usually because I get a kick out of the fact that I am mad). We talked about laughing with our kids more and laughing with our spouses. I LOVE that Ryan makes me laugh! One of my favorite things is just sitting and talking with Ryan and laughing with each other about whatever!

So, here is the point of me telling you all this. I challenge you to do something that makes you happy. Something that makes you laugh right out loud, with your spouse, your kids & yourself (Might I suggest watching Sons of Provo....HA! It KILLS ME!) Just laugh! Then remind yourself to do it often!

The only thing that makes me feel better about missing gno ( and I am really sad because i wanted to see mama mia and im pretty sure brian isnt going) is that I have a cafe rio only 20 minutes from my house and olive garden is a mere 45 minutes away. Now if only I had my friends to go to these wonderous restaurant and stores with me.

Hey there sister! No reason to get dirty about all of this! You can't just go throwing Cafe Rio in our faces! You know how deprived we are here! GEEZ!

(WE MISS YOU HORRIBLY!)

Oh, and no worries! We will all be there soon enough! PREPARE YOURSELF SISTER!! DECEMBER I LOVE YOU!

Thanks for the laughs, Amy! I am going to try to laugh more. I need it. :) And...Hey...Why am I not part of the girl band? Ha! Ha! Ha! I know when my "talents" aren't welcome. JUST KIDDING!!! I'm horrible.

That's one of the things I love most about you- your laugh makes me laugh! Isn't it funny how that works! We get far to serious around the Norris house sometimes!

Glad you guys had fun!

Such good advice. I don't laugh near enough. Too serious! I guess I need to surround myself with laughers more often.
