{MONDAY'S MENU} Peanut Butter Breakfast Banana Split

A recipe straight from the Biggest Loser....So yummy I might add! Next time I am craving dessert, I am going to reach for this! It is so suprisingly yummy!

PEANUT-BUTTER BREAKFAST BANANA SPLIT

INGREDIENTS:1 small ripe banana, halved lengthwise
1 T. reduced-fat peanut butter
1 container Yoplait Boston Cream Pie flavored yogurt
2 T. crunchy high fiber cereal (I used Kashi granola)

DIRECTIONS:Seriously, do you really need directions?! This is easy! Just pile it up!


Now....this one is definately NOT straight from the Biggest Loser! These are the stinking amazingly perfect cookies Ryan makes! I did steal one....alright 2 dang it, they are hard to resist!


ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup shortening
1 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp whole milk
1 tsp table salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
16 oz Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

DIRECTIONS:
1.
Heat oven to 375 degrees
2.Combine Crisco, Brown Sugar, milk & vanilla. Beat at medium speed until well blended.
3.Beat egg into mixture.
4.Combine flour, salt & baking soda.
5.Mix into creamed mixture just until blended.
6.Stir in Chocolate chips.
7. Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake for 8 min.
8. Let them rest on the pan for only 1 min. Cool on wire racks.

Ya know...I just have to say this...all of you who take pictures of your food and post them--the pictures obviously don't do the food justice (except the cookies, of course--they will always look good online)...but the rest...it looks, well...not that tempting. Sounds good, though! Thanks for the recipes

Does that really come from the biggest loser? It doesn't look like a healthy breakfast to me. It looks too good to be healthy =)
