{LEGACY}
These two women mean so much to me! They are my mom and my grandma. I love them so much!
The other day I was thinking about all of the fun things my mom would do for us to make us feel special when I was younger. There wasn't a dance concert, tryout, competition or anything that I was in that meant a lot to me that my mom didn't show up with a balloon and a card telling me how she thought I was the best at what ever I was doing and telling me how much she loves me. She came to everything I was ever involved in and she was always my best cheerleader!
I was thinking about the time that she was a single mom of 3 little kids and how, although times were hard for all of us then, she made sure that we were always happy. She would work some, but I don't remember her being gone (other than the day that I hit Clint with the phone because he wouldn't let me call her to tell her he was being mean!) :) I do remember her cleaning dentists offices and we would get to come along with a favorite toy and our sleeping bags and pillows (which I later found out that it was because it was really late at night) but those are some of my most fond memories! I also loved our "Late night up with mom" she would let us pick whatever we wanted to do and it was just her and I. She always made us the most amazing birthday cakes (I should find pictures and post them), fun Valentine Cookies and made everything more fun for us. Now that I am a mother and I understand the responsibilities that go along with motherhood, I am sure that there were times that she was so overwhelmed, when she was on her own, but it is a credit to her that some of my best memories come from that time. You did an amazing job Mom! Thanks! I love you!
I am also blessed to have my Grandma Atkinson. I love her so much! Like my mom, there wasn't anything that I was ever involved in that I didn't have my Grandma and Grandpa there to watch. EVERYTHING! They were always so supportive and loving! I was blessed to get to live with my Grandma for a little while when I was growing up. I learned some very important lessons from her and I am grateful!
My Grandma is one of the funniest people I know. I love that she and I can sit and laugh about so much! I love that she calls me a couple times a week, and for the first year of the babies life it was daily! I know that she loves me with all of her heart! I love you Grandma!

Thank you Amy. That all means so much to me. You are a very special and sweet daughter. I don't see you near enough but I always feel your love. It's to your credit that we stay so close over the distance. I love you the most.
