One Of Those Moments!

Ok, so yesterday while I was reading Amber's blog (Ryan's cousin, and I will claim her too :)) She wrote about how fast kids tend to grow up. Her 18 mnth old little boy had pooped in the tub and was very concerned about it. She said that at that moment she loved him more than ever. Well, this morning during Dawson's Language Therapy was one of those moments for me!

It is so funny how a moment like this should have stressed me out. My daughter is now a candidate for the Blue Man group, and my wood floors were also in the running! One of my favorite shirts she has is now ruined and there is a small blue spot on the rug. But all I could do was laugh and love her more!

Ryan and I were thinking about how when Jake was this age we had so much stress in our life that we really didn't take the time to thoroughly enjoy this age with him. Well, we are now! We enjoy all of our kids so much! They are really so much fun! I love watching them get excited about things and I love to watch them laugh with each other! There is nothing that makes a mom happier than seeing her kids love each other and know that they are really happy.

I am learning, to laugh more, play more, let the dishes go a little longer when Jake wants me to play Light Sabers or make cookies to surprise Daddy, don't worry so much about the messes that come with allowing Jake to do all the cooking, stirring, etc. Don't worry about the Lincoln Log community in the living room, I can vacume around it, and so much more. You know what? I am happier for it. Yes, there are sometimes I don't get everything done on my list, but my kids are happy, Ryan is happy and I am happy. The important things get done, and it really only takes about 15 min. once the kids are in bed, to clean up after the day.

Anyway, now I will go back to the pictures, because well, it is hilarious! Can I just say, thank goodness for Magic Erasers? No trace left on the floor, but Mal is another story.......

It is blue food coloring. I guess I left that part out! I actually immediately thought of Tawn when I saw Mal! Funny girls!
