Well, last night after the post I went up to see Dawson. When I walked into the PICU I could hear this little "HNNN GEEE". That is the way Mallory and Dawson cry and it is so darn cute. I went to his bed to find that he was already extubated and was doing great. I sat with him for awhile then went to my moms to sleep. We both needed it.
Today Dawson is doing really good. He is resting comfortably and doing really well. I am just about to go up for the rest of the night to hold and love him.
Just a favor to ask of all of you that read this. There is a family that I have been talking to. They were just told by the doctors that it is time to take their 16 daughter off of life support and let her go. They are having such a hard time. They asked if we would pray for them and I want to ask that everyone just send a prayer their way. They are really struggling with this and could use the help of prayer.
Well, I am off to see my boy. We should be feeding him soon. I will let you know how it all goes.

I love reading your updates and seeing pics of your precious children!
I will say a prayer for the family of the 16 yr old girl. How terribly sad. Her poor, poor parents.
