DAWSON!!
(You can click on the grid to see it larger)
Wow! It was soooo good to see our little Dawson this weekend. He is now clear of the virus and will be going home next weekend, barring anything unforseen. All of the grandparents are free to go and visit him. Please, Please, Please, if you have been around ANYONE that has been sick at all (even a small runny nose) in the past 7 days, or if you have been sick at all, do not go and see him. We know that this is hard, but his immune system is weak and he will catch anything. They also have the hospital on lock down, they are turning away anyone that is sick. We know you love the babies, thanks so much for being so mindful of them!
Dawson will be at full feeds tomorrow. He will be sent home with a feeding tube. The bottom middle picture above is my handy work. That is my first time putting in an NG tube. Ryan did it today. We both have to do it 1 more time each then we are set to take him home in about a week.
The top right picture looks totally like my baby picture (can you see it mom?), the bottom left, Clint and Abby say, looks like Clint and Clayton's baby pics, and the top middle is Mallory. Funny! He is a good mix, but mostly Lindstrom!
Thank you all for all of your prayers and love! We have learned so much from this. It is amazing that this is definately something I never thought I would make it through and now I have 2 four month old babies fresh from the hospital. CRAZY! It has been rough at times. The other day when I was reading in Mosiah I found a scripture that hit me like a ton of bricks.
"And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs....and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions." Mosiah 24:14
We can definately say that this has been the case with us! We will do our best to "stand as witnesses" that the Lord does love us and ease our burdens when we totally rely on him!
We love you all and hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
Love, The Lindstroms
