TOGETHER AGAIN!!!

OK so I took the night off last night and starting last night I started feeling a little twinge just behind my nose. I am not sure if it is a cold or allergies. Clint and Abby do have a cat and last night was the most time I have spent here and outside of my room. I am usually just here long enough to sleep and eat breakfast then come home do a post and go to bed. I am staying away from the hospital today because if I just have a little itch in my nose and it is a cold the babies could get RSV, have respritory distress and have to go all the way back up on their oxygen and start over that way, start over on all of their IV's and feedings, or worse case develop a blood infection that would cause them to be intibated again. It is a little more scary now for me to go out in the public because people go to the store sick, or anywhere else and then I am exposed to it without knowing it and I can take it to the babies. Kind of crazy. I think we will just take today and tomorrow at least to just let them rest and I should get some rest too.

Both babies are doing wonderful. I just called to check in and they said that Dawson is now at the U!! I am so glad!! Mallory is now 4lbs. 4oz. and is wearing her first little outfit. She will be in a crib anytime. Probably by the time I see her again. If all her progress continues the way it is going she will probably go home within the next few weeks. Then I will have her here with me and go to the hospital for Dawson. It will be a crazy time I am sure!

It is such a blessing to watch these babies grow! I look at the pictures posted below several times a day and I just have to smile! These are my babies and I am so glad and blessed! They are so darn sweet! I love holding Dawson when he is awake because he just has to sit and stare at me. His little eyes move around just taking every part of my face in. He is so sweet. He loves when I sing songs to him or just talk to him. It is so fun to watch Mallory look around. She is so curios and has to just take everything in. When she hears the other babies cry, the alarms on other beds, or the phone ring she consentrates on them so hard. She is so funny. When I hold her and she sleeps she has to keep opening her eyes to look at me and make sure I still have her and everytime I put her back she cries, she just loves her mama. There is an amazing spirit around both of these babies. They are both so fresh from our Heavenly Fathers presence and you can feel it when you are with them! Oh, we are so blessed!
