THERE AREN'T EVEN WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW SWEET THIS IS!! GET OUT YOUR TISSUE GRANDMAS THIS IS ONE TO MAKE YOU GET A LITTLE TEARY!!

Well for some reason tonight I am having problems getting the other pics to load. They are so darn cute. They are of the babies in their costumes. I will either figure it out or have Ryan help me. So they will be along soon.

Today our little miss Mally is having some issues. They called me this morning to let me know that her red blood count was way low. Funny, I have been telling them that for days. I could tell when I looked at her that she was quite pale. They said it is funny how they use all of their tests and logical stuff, but mothers instinct always it right in the end. I know mothers instinct is pretty darn strong, I hated my moms ability to tap into it when I was a teenager :) Hopefully, her strong instinct passed to me, my poor kids :)

Anyway, when I got to the hospital this morning they told me that her bowels were "loopy". This means that there is a blockage or a stop in her intestines and you can actually see them through her skin. This was exactly Dawsons' problem and why he ended up needing his bowel surgery, so I was a little worried. They did tell me that NEC (what Dawson had) doesn't really ever happen in babies as old as she is so that is not a real worry. When red blood cells diminish your body will pull them from places in your body to take care of the vitals. The first place they go from is the gut. Thus the stopped up food in Mals' intestines. By the end of the day and after her 1st of 2 blood transfusions she did not have visible loops anymore, and she was quite pink and more like herself. She was ticked!! They had not fed her all day. They gave her an IV but that doesn't take care of her rumbly tummy. She cried and attacked the binki for the rest of the day. I am sure she will give the night nurse a run for her money tonight!! Tomorrow morning when I go back in she will get to eat, if she does well overnight, and it will be from me so hopefully she will do really well nursing.

Dawson is just the same, cute, chubby and sleepy. He is such a little cutie! I held him for a while today. He didn't have to split the time with his sister since she had to stay in bed all day. I am sure he enjoyed all of the attention. He didn't nurse much today. We have a hard time getting him to stay awake. He was wide awake this morning before I got there, but that is about it.

Well, we just had a small bump in our road today. Who knows maybe this is all happening as an answer to my prayers that Mallory will learn to eat right. She has been sucking on her binki the right way and if it could produce milk, she would get it out of it! Hopefully tomorrow she will feel the same and take off with the whole thing. The Lord works in mysterious ways, I have definately learned that. I know this is all in His hands so I am sure that all of this happens for some reason or another!

Well sleep good! I am headed to bed and will update you all tomorrow! Now scroll back up to the top and look at our cute babies again!

Love, Amy, Ryan and kids

Yes, I did need a few tissues!! What a beautiful picture! The ladies at the library all loved it too. Two of them said that the preemie twins in their families thrived after they were put together. It just felt right to them. Jean said her grandbabies are still in the same crib even though they are over a year old.

Mother's intuition is a great thing. It really is a gift. . . most of the time. It can be difficult when you know what's going on but you can't convince others. It's especially hard when you can't convince the child you're having the intuition about. I've always prayed to have it and I've been so thankful for it. You will be too.

My arms are aching to hold the babies again. I can't believe how much I miss them when I'm away from them.

I hope you have a really good day and that your prayers will be answered. Your faith continues to inspire me every day.

I love you!

I LOVE THAT PICTURE! I downloaded it and put it right in my "September 2005" file of our family because, well, they are partially mine you know :) Just teasing!

Syd will love that picture when she gets home from school!
