Dawson's stoma (part of his intestines that sticks out) is the little pink part that you can barely see in the bag. This will all be back to normal in about 4-6 weeks.

And now I know why Ryan never taught me to upload pics!! MWAH HAH HAH! I guess I figured it out!
For the update: Both babies are doing great! Today was a real success day for nursing. BOTH babies are really getting the hang of it, and yes, that includes Dawson. I went back at around noon after our 9am that wasn't so successful and he was wide awake. He was ready to go and latched right on really quick! I was so proud!
Dawson hasn't been moved yet, but hopefully tomorrow and Mallory's nurse today forgot to ween any of her heat off of the bed so she is stuck in the isolette for another day or two. All in all they are great!

Hello my dear! Ya they both look a lot like Jake. They look a lot like each other. Their face shape and noses are a little different from the others but they are stinkin cute! I get all teary everytime I hold them just because I know they are mine! What a blessing! I love watching them learn to nurse. Dawson is all business and wants to just go to work. Mallory is a little distracted by everything and likes to have a look around at EVERYTHING before she starts. Then she is a little pirahna. The best part is that I love them sooooo much and I know that everyday they look forward to seeing me. They get very excited and love it when I hold them. How fun!!
I hope you are doing good! I love you to death and I am so glad you are my friend! I will be home soon and we will scrapbook like crazy mama's!
