Well, just thought that I should probably check in. First of all I need to apologize that we don't have any pics up yet. I promise we will get on that. Second, I just wanted to let you all know how the babies are today.
Dawson is recovering well. They took his pain meds away this afternoon and that caused him a little pain. They put him on CPAP this afternoon to help him breathe a little better and did eventually put him back on the pain meds. Tonight he is resting very peacefully and comfortably. He is not having to really work hard to breathe which is great because he can focus more on recovery and rest.
Mallory is doing pretty good as well. She is on pain meds and is doing really well with resting. This is what we really want for her. She should also be eating now....we don't really know for sure on this one yet because they were changing her bed tonight when we called and the nurse couldn't give us any details other than she is doing really good. They did tell us earlier today that they would be feeding her so hopefully they have.
Other than that all is well. They will probably and hopefully be pretty boring for the next few days. I will be in Idaho with my boys and hopefully will come back to some well rested babies. We will continue to fill you in. We love you all thanks again for all of your love and support!
