A Busy Weekend

OUR LITTLE DAWSON IS FINALLY DRESSED!! GIVE HIM 1 OR 2 MORE DAYS AND HE WILL HAVE HIS OWN CRIB TOO!

OUR LITTLE MALLORY ALL DRESSED UP. THE NURSE FOUND A DRESS FOR HER AND WE DECIDED TO GET HER DOLLED UP. AUNT LISA MADE THE CUTE LITTLE BRACELET THAT SHE IS WEARING (THANKS LEES), AND OF COURSE HER CUTE LITTLE FACE COMES FROM HER MAMA AND DADDY!

MALLORYS' BED IS AS PINK AS WE COULD GET IT (I FIGURED COURTNEY WOULD REALLY LIKE IT) AND YOU CAN SEE THAT SHE HAS HER LITTLE "PRINCESS MENTORS" KAITLYN AND LYDIA HANGING BY HER. THE BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK WAS DONATED BY LYDIA.

HEADED FOR HER VERY FIRST BATH AND TOTALLY UNPLUGGED FROM ANY MACHINES!

MALLORYS' FIRST REACTION TO THE TUB FULL OF WATER.

MALLORY LOVED HER BATH, ONCE THE NURSE PUT SOME WARMER WATER IN THE TUB. I THINK SHE WOULD HAVE LIKED TO STAY THERE ALL DAY!!

MAMA DOING MALLORYS' HAIR. SHE LOVES THIS SO MUCH! WE USE A LITTLE TOOTHBRUSH AS A HAIRBRUSH AND STYLE HER ALL UP. MACHELLE GEAR WOULD BE PROUD!!

GRANDMA AND GRANDPA SALISBURY LOVED GETTING AN UPCLOSE VIEW OF THE BABIES. GRANDMA COULD HAVE SAT FOR HOURS HOLDING THESE TWO, BUT GRANDPA HAD TO GET BACK TO PLEASANT GROVE, SOMEONES GOTTA SAVE THAT CITY, AND HE IS THE BEST FIREFIGHTER/EMT THEY HAVE!!

JAKE AND MALLORY GET A REALLY GOOD LOOK AT EACH OTHER. JAKE WAS REALLY HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO FINALLY HOLD HIS LITTLE BROTHER AND SISTER. HE LOVES THEM SO MUCH AND I AM SURE THAT THEY WILL LOVE GROWING UP WITH HIM AS THEIR BIG BROTHER TOO!

Well this was a pretty busy weekend for Mallory with a lot of firsts. It will be Dawsons' turn very soon for a bath and a new bed. Both babies are doing great, let me give you a run down.

Dawson is amazing everyone. He is now 5 days without having his reservoir tapped. He was a once a day-er and now nothing. They did an ultra sound on him today. His ventricles in his brain are now shrinking back to normal!! He is absorbing the fluid right now on his own and doing great. Hopefully he doesn't have to have his reservoir tapped much more. This all means no shunt if it keeps going this way!! He has also passed his little sister in nursing. He figured it out and loves to nurse. Tonight he nursed for 17 min. straight. What a big boy! He didn't get a ton of milk because he doesn't really suck right all of the time but he will get there I am sure! He is just the cutest little boy! I love to hold and look at him. He is my little version of Ryan and it is so much fun to see so much of Ry in him.

Mallory is doing great also. She had her head tapped today. She is now tapped once every 3 days. Today they couldn't get that much fluid out because she is also reabsorbing it very well. If she keeps this up she won't have to have a shunt or her head tapped for much longer. We found out today that she has thrush. We have no idea how she got it. It makes it hard for her to nurse because her little tongue hurts. So hopefully in the next two days she will get back to it. She is doing great othere than that and is getting so strong. Today when I was burping her she pulled her little head off of my shoulder and just looked around. She is so funny!

I can't tell you how amazing it is to watch the miracles we have seen happen to these babies. They are definately here to strengthen all of our testimonies of our Father in Heavens love, power and mercy! My views are changing and I see His hand in everything! He is so aware of all of us and waits for us to call on Him for help. He also teaches us valuable lessons through our patience. I hope that all of you can see and feel His love and power when you read about and see these babies. The miracles that have happened in the last couple of months on their behalf are amazing. Their lives thus far have definately showed me that I have a Father in Heaven that loves and teaches and trusts me with these babies! I am just so glad that I am their mommy! Ryan, Jake and I are so blessed not only by these babies but because we have so much family and friends that love and support us. We can't thank you enough for your support through this. There are moments when I don't think I can keep doing this then I hear from one of you. You all lift us up when we need it most. Thanks so much, we love you all!!

Love, The Lindstrom Family

On behalf of all the Price girls, I want to say that the pink looks great! I'm sure that the Horch girls would second that motion :)

It's also amazing how the twins were really having a hard time and it was getting a little rough for you guys, but the Lord knew when you needed to have some weeks with progress and has blessed you with that!

Keep up the good work!

[Oh, and this has NOTHING to do with anything, (Amy, you will apreciate this) but Toni Braxton was on TV this morning and I was a little miffed because I feel like she's stealing Towanda's thunder. If Towanda comes out with an album, we're buying it! You need to call me Amy!]

I know you miss me, you little punk!! Yeah I saw your blog! All I can say is you are going down.

Don't think I haven't thought about searching the internet for Towanda/Cloe. We will definately own that one!

It is amazing now to watch all of the progress we are making. Last night I prayed like crazy for the babies to really catch on to the whole nursing thing. This morning, needless to say, little Mallory nursed without problems for 19 min.
Prayers are being answered so quickly and so obviously now. I don't know what will be next for these babies, but I know that the Lord will give us the strength to deal with whatever it is. I am not naive enough to think that the Lord has nothing to do with any of this. He has EVERYTHING to do with it and I am actually thankful for the lesson!!

Love ya the most!
Amy
