We are pleased to announce that we have FINALLY transferred almost all of the kids therapies to our area! I was getting so burned out with 3 hour round trip driving to Twin EVERY WEEK! Blah!
So, our lives are a little less crazy! All of the therapist come to our house, except for one, who is still in Twin Falls, but only every other week. So, just for the record this is our therapy schedule:
Every other Monday: Developmental Therapy @ 9:30-10:30 am. for Mallory
The other Monday's: Feeding and Speach Therapy @ 9:30-10:30 for Dawson (Twin Falls)
Every Tuesday: Physical Therapy @ 9:00 am - 11:00am for Mallory & Dawson
Every other Friday: Vision Therapy @ 9:30-10:30am for Dawson
Kind of crazy, but we are happy to have most of them here! The good news is that we are in the process of tonz of paperwork and evaluations so that we can get them ready for Developmental Preschool this fall. THEN all of the therapies, from what I gather, will take place at school. I have also heard that Blaine County has the best Developmental Preschool in Idaho! So we are blessed!
Here are a few pics of Mallory working with Gloria, her physical therapist. Gloria is AWESOME! She believes that therapy should be very positive and very fun for the kids. She comes in with the funnest toys from this balance beam, to floor foam puzzles, trampolines, balls and more. Mallory loves her. She is VERY high energy and a lot of fun!

Mal was really nervous about this whole balance beam thing, but she finally started getting it!
We have never been able to get Mallory to really get the hang of feeding herself with utensils. This is one of our goals in therapy. Gloria really got her going and she has been doing MUCH better!
