When we got home from Utah, believe it or not, the first thing we did was unpack and make plans to go to Boise. Ryan was going up for some work stuff and we decided it would be the perfect opportunity to go to the temple and spend some FUN time together as a family. We had a lot of fun! We played and played in the pool. Then in our hotel room. The kids had a lot of fun!
Boise is our closest temple. It is about a 2 hr. 45 min drive. It can be quite a doozy when you try to make it to the temple and back in one day. Especially since we have to take the kids and take turns going in. We miss the days of having a temple within minutes. What a blessing that is! We are so excited about the Twin Falls Temple! It should be done in 2008 sometime! That will be so great! Now when we go it will only be a 5 hour round trip (including a session) instead of our current 10 hours!
For now, though, we will enjoy the time we get to spend together and make the trips fun for everyone!
