So last Wednesday was therapy day in Twin. It takes us just over an hour to get there. Mallory usually does ok on the way down. However, lately she cries from about Shoshone to Twin, which is about 20 min.
Both babies, especially Dawson, did SOOOO good at therapy. He hasn't had a good therapy day in quite a while, so this was a great thing! Lately he tends to just go limp and not want to work at all, or gags and pukes up all of the food the feeding therapist gives him.
Well, on the way home, the second I put her royal highness in her throne she lost it. She hates to be restrained! So it took some time to get out of town. I even tried chicken nuggets, which we found out she loves on our trip to Idaho Falls last week. Nothing! So, after doing everything I could, I just started driving. At one point it was so ridiculous I had to get my camera out and take a picture of her. Not to worry. My eyes were on the road, I just snapped it over my head, that is why there is only part of her in the picture in some of them. This, she thought for a second, was worth stopping for, but then she just got mad again! I called Ryan and told him that I don't care how much more it will cost us to fly to Mexico, we will pay it because there is NO WAY I would put her or us through this for 18 hours each way! Enjoy the drama!
This is the calmest point. What you can't see is there is a lot of snot rubbed through her hair (pretty, I know) and lots of spots all over her face from crying so hard. Oh don't worry, she got back to it.

Yes, I do believe she means her little gesture! This is REAL road rage! I think she wanted me to stop taking pictures! :)

Um, who's suggestion was it to drive to Mexico? der........ Unless you're going to "tj", I would say NO WAY!
I agree with Courtney, thats a SUPER long drive. no sane human being would want to take that drive. especially with two babies... it gives me a headache just thinking about it!
So i'm thinkin you should tell me when you will be in twin next and we can do lunch or something... since we never ever see eachother anymore.

Courtney....everyone is driving. For them it is only 10-12 hours. They are all stopping in Pheonix to stay the night. You know 10-12 isn't bad, you drove that to your parents. However, Ryan and I had to decide what to do. We would have taken a couple extra days and drove to Utah, hung out for a day, drove to Pheonix, hang out for a day, then 4 hours to Rocky Point, MX. However, since I can't make it to Twin without her freaking out, well, it just won't work. I NEED a DVD player! I think that will help with our trip to Utah in March!
Kels- It would be so fun to see you! I am coming down again March 14th. However, it might have to be breakfast because, as soon as Jake gets off to school, I run down, get stuff done, go to therapy, then run home to make it by the time Jake gets home. Soo....let me know what you think about Breakfast! :)
