Loves from Jakey!

This is pretty much what we all do, all day! Look at those cheeks! How could you not kiss them?! Plus, he LOVES to be kissed! He always has! I remember when he was in the hospital. Just after Mallory came home I would be away from the hospital a little bit more to also take care of her. He had some really great nurses that he really loved, but when mom would come he would get kisses! As soon as I would walk up I would lean close to him in his bed and say, "hello little man" and give him kisses. You could totally see that he loved it and that he knew I was there! Can I just tell you how glad I am that we are not there anymore! It makes me sad to think about all that, kinda queezy actually! What brave and strong little babies we have!!

Anyway, back to the sweet stuff! Jake loves Dawson so much! He is always tickling and making some odd noise to make Dawson laugh. Dawson has a word or sound of the day. When you say it or make the sound he thinks it is the funniest thing and he immediately laughs, then the next day....not funny anymore. He is so funny! I think Jake makes it his personal mission to discover what it is each day. Sometimes we stumble on to it, and sometimes we can't find it. Some examples are "Kachow" (thank you lightening McQueen), "CH CH CH", "Swish Swish", "Nugget" (Yesterday I asked Mally where she put her chicken nugget and he busted up out of no where, so we said nugget again and he just cracked up!), the sound of a drill is almost more than he can handle, and the sound the packaging tape makes when you are pulling it off the gun is more than he can take! He laughed like a 4 year old and sometimes it was so hard there was no sound, just a huge smile and shaking shoulders! He is really the funniest baby!
