THE PREPARATIONS!

This was such a fun way to do Thanksgiving! I had all the groceries at my house and we all just cooked together. Everyone had a hand in almost everything! It was so much fun! There was no stress! It was just a make it and eat when it's ready kind of day!

Kayla stirs the Cashew beans (a family favorite and must have). This was fun for her to learn how to make all of this stuff! Mom is also making the BEST gravy EVER!! She seriously makes the most perfect gravy!

Just beyond mom I am making a completely Lactose free Coconut Cream Pie, just for Ryan! My mom also made him a Pecan Pie! HE LOVED IT! Both were sooo good!

Lisa began, quite early, baking the pies. She made 2 Chocolate Cream pies, 1 Coconut Cream pie, 1 Banana Cream Pie, 2 Pumpkin Pies, 1 Apple pie with mom. Add that to the Pecan and LF Coconut Cream, and store bought Mince Meat for Dad, and you have way TOO MANY pies! But they were ALL so good! And by the time everyone left, there was nothing left! OH MY!!
