So Ryan and I have wanted a trailer for a long time. I have wanted one that is about late 50's early 60's so I can totally overhaul and fix it up. Well, it just so happened that our neighbor just bought a motorhome and wanted to sell her trailer. We just couldn't pass it up. For a few hundred bucks we were set up with the perfect trailer for us. 1 because we didn't go into debt to get it, 2 because there is A LOT I can do to update this one, and 3 because we love to camp and now we can just hook up the truck and go!! I guess, I must add for Ryan, that there is a SWEET awning that has maybe been set up twice during it's last almost 50 years, and there was a hose that had NEVER been used. Still had the wire and tag on it. Ryan was so excited about that!
We bought it on Thursday, packed it up and headed out early Friday morning. The weekend was HOT and full of very annoying bugs, but we had a lot of fun, and we will likely head out again a lot more this year.
