On Sunday Ryan had a lot of meetings. When he got home it was only to pick up his Home Teaching companion (Jake) and head out again. The babies needed a bath and Ryan had been got for a while so I thought I could just put the babies in the tub and he would be back home in enough time to help me get them out.
Well, getting them in the bath was tricky, but managable. I got them both in and they loved it. Dawson was a little wary of Mallory being there with him, but he didn't mind too much. Mallory thought it was great to have him there. In fact, she was excited to see that he had a binki in the tub so she could combine her two favorite things, bathing and stealing his binki.
After about an hour, Dawson was falling asleep (Mallory showing no desire to get out any time soon) I needed to get them out, dressed, and fed. Ryan was still gone so came the trick of getting two slippery little babies out of the tub at the same time so as to not leave one unattended. We pulled it off somehow without incident!
