This is the EVD so you all know what we are talking about. It is actually a form of a shunt that drains on the outside. The tube comes right out of his head and is sewn in place. Then they wrap it around and sew the tube right to his scalp to make sure it doesn't get pulled out.
This is now the second time that he has had an EVD. It is a pain. He has to stay level with the pump at all times or you can clamp it off, but not for long. We hope this is the last time we ever see this again!
