Success!

Hello all, this is Ryan. Amy wanted me to give you a little update on the surgery.

Well, Dawson came out of surgery a few hours ago all put together and in tip-top shape. They thought they were going to have to remove more of his intestines, but it turns out that they didn't. They were able to put everything back together, which means that we don't have to have another surgery in 6-8 weeks, which means 6-8 weeks less that he has to be in the hospital. From here it's just figuring out the eating thing and staying stable for a week on their own, and they're on the way home. Well, that's about all I've got. Amy got sick so she came home last week. Well, she got all of us sick and then went back to Utah. How nice of her. Better here than there I guess. If none of this makes any sense, I blame it on the Sudafed. I don't know why, but for some reason Sudafed really whacks me out. Oh well. Anyway, it's a huge relief to have this last surgery behind us, and we're encouraged that they could be home in a month or so. Thanks so much for all the prayers and support, and I'll get Amy to put more pictures up.
